I am always searching for new sounds. you might have though that I am only an electronic music enthusiast, but in all reality we need to remember our roots! It never started with synthesized music, it was all natural in the beginning : P.

But oh....man does this band have some of the greatest harmonies I have ever heard! With rhythms you can dance to and vocals you can praise, I guarantee this band will be on your next driving playlist.

Dubstep

Let's talk Dubstep, I know that the scene is saturated with bro's and that the original style has gone so far off that many of the original people that were in the scene may be questioning it's direction.  It is actually great to see the growth of the genre because i remember being at SMOG LA when they first started.  Talking to all the people that were in the scene at that time and how we wished others would get into it....sometime we have to be careful what we wish for : ).  So in the end we got what we wanted but on a widespread scale.  Bringing all types of producers out of the works due to Dubsteps vast variation of cross genres that it subsequently fits into.

For example my friends Cheyyene Smith and Tim Baker who were heavily influenced in the OC Hardcore music scene playing in multiple bands decided to jump into this electronic scene.  The name they took on "Brothers Grim" had a lot of their hardcore influence bringing heavy hits and a wide arrange of Synth sounds and swells.

The originals in the Dubstep scene are still around and it seems like the trend roller coaster is taking a turn for the better though.

Take Caspa for example, when he first blew out on to the scene he was know for his heavy and dark bass lines and just straight Grimey (dirty) Synth sounds throughout his tracks. He had a small change and went a little mainstream but he is know bringing it back

I really can talk on and on about this genre.  But the greatest thing about it is how it has truly evolved and how the originals stay underground like most other genres do to keep the purity of the original sound!
